As an Application Support professional, your dedication to innovation is essential to what keeps our company moving and thriving. In this role, you'll oversee application issues, including troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating and resolving. You'll ensure that the production changes your team makes are made keeping best practices, lifecycle methodology and overall risk top of mind. Partnering with Infrastructure Service Support team members, you'll dig into root cause analysis, production changes, budgetary, and staffing issues. You'll also draw on your experience to manage and mentor people to drive strategic change, both within your team as well as in collaboration with team members across JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global network of innovators.

The Applications Support Lead writes and executes software release builds scripts for both Java applications, deployed to Websphere and Weblogic application servers and .NET applications deployed to IIS. This individual uses build tools such as ANT, Perl, Maven, Git, and Subversion as source control system. They will execute database updates to SQL and DB2 databases. These deployments will span Development, Certification, Quality Assurance, Stage, Stress, and Production environments. Provides daily technical support to all development teams, works closely with the development teams who manage user interface, middleware, back-end code, and provides Stash support for all different code sets across the Digital environment. This individual will also perform administration of tools such as: Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Jules and Fisheye Crucible. Use Bamboo/Jules for application builds and deployments for Dev/IST/QA/UAT and ARM Tool for Perf and production environments.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques * Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software * Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python, .Net, C++, etc.) * Understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards * Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals * Perform administration and installation of Bamboo agent on build/deploy servers, generating reports, reporting bugs to Atlassian * Ensures the availability of the tools, maintains users and groups and provides appropriate access, installs updates and other admin activities * Experience with Hudson/Jenkins for continuous integration builds, including the setting up of Hudson instance, creating users/groups and projects, installing plugins, agents install on the slave machines, and periodic updates * Experience with GAP/GKP/EKS/CF for all cloud based application/infra build and deployments * Experience with Fisheye Crucible for code review, including setting up the Fisheye instance on a server, ensuring availability of the tool, maintaining Users/Groups, providing appropriate access, and installing the updates and other administrative activities * Experience using Jira for issue tracking and project management to create and track projects, including setting up the Jira instance and database on a server, reporting bugs to Atlassian, generating reports, ensuring availability of the tool, maintaining users/groups, providing appropriate access, installing the updates, and taking DB backups
