We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Backend developer (m/f/x) with a very good knowledge of object-oriented programming andan interest in complex and high scalable web applications to develop our technology further. In particular you will do database design andoptimization. You will work in a friendly team atmosphere, use agile methods and have the chance to develop yourself professionally and personally.
Get your hands dirty doing this:
- Object-oriented PHP programming at a very high level
- Development of robust and scalable application components in an agile weekly release cycle
- Database design and optimization with MySQL and NoSQL such as Redis or MongoDB
- API development for the communication between services
- Deliver tested and fully functional PHP Microservices
- Applying design patterns to your solutions
- Conceptual design, planning, and programming of system components
- Deliver documentation and specifications for services to handle inter-team communication
What you should (ideally) bring:
- 3-5 years experience as a Backend Developer in a fulltime position
- Evidence of good programming skills with successful completion of a training course / degree and/ or work experience in the IT sector
- Very good knowledge in PHP 7.2 or higher, OOP, MySQL
- Experience with asynchronous messaging systems is a plus
- Practical experience with SQL and Non-SQL databases
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Familiar with agile development workflows (Scrum)
- Fluent in English, preferably good German language skills are a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility and self-dependent work approach
- Being able to work in a team
