Our team has created and develops cutting edge web apps for delivering user assistance to Apple customers. The team supports the department that produces onscreen and printed product documentation for all Apple software and hardware. We are looking for an experienced Web Services Engineer responsible for architecting and implementing backend services, databases, developing APIs, and supporting our team of web app developers.As a web services engineer you will have responsibilities spanning all phases of backend system architecture design, developing web services, messaging/streaming of data, data persistence, and deployment of services. You will be working on services which assist the department in content production. You are comfortable and prefer the best practices of software development, such as agile development, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing. You have worked closely with project managers, DevOps and other stakeholders to define requirements, estimate accordingly, and deliver quality work on-time.
