We're building an innovative new financial system. Working in a talented Scrum team, as our Senior Java Backend Developer, you'll help ensure it handles all our needs. That means writing high-quality, clean code supporting our company's business needs, and testing it with Java frameworks.

Support team members e.g. through pair programming

Help improve development practices in our backend community

Align and brainstorm with the business for the best solutions

Here are the skills and experience we need from you:

5+ years' experience as a backend developer

Experience financial systems is a big plus In-depth knowledge of Java or Kotlin + Spring Framework

Experience with messaging systems (preferably Kafka or Kinesis)

Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, and clean code principles

Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes), Dev Ops

Experience with building microservices

Ability to read and understand PHP code is a plus
