Partnering with Infrastructure Service Support team members, you'll dig into root cause analysis, production changes, budgetary and staffing issues. You'll also draw on your experience to manage and mentor people to drive strategic change, both within your team as well as in collaboration with team members across JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global network of innovators.

As a member of our Production Support team, you'll immediately put your love of technology into action. Each day, you and your team will be responsible for making sure our platforms, servers and networks are online and secure. You'll work together, evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, maintaining, upgrading, documenting and designing our infrastructure. You'll find new and creative solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Communication is key, both in problem solving with your supervisors and collaborating with your coworkers, as well as other teams in the network.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques * Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software * Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python, .Net, C++, etc.) * Understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and companywide standards * Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals * Strong experience in leading teams with Automation and Configuration tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks and manipulate data * Strong platform skills (Linux, UNIX and Windows) * Strong application & middleware support knowledge * Experience with instrumentation, monitoring, alerting and responding - relative to performance and availability of application, using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, etc. * Experience with Agile and full software development life cycle disciplines * Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex problems under pressure * Understanding of concepts and principles behind DevOps, SRE, CICD etc. * Nice to have - knowledge of Cloud Engineering. Understanding of private cloud principles and exposure to public cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google cloud or similar technology is preferred
