This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems * Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages * Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals * Passionate about building an innovative culture * 5-7 years experience working as a Software Engineer on applications utilizing Java, J2EE, Spring, Apache CXF, Python * Experience with powershell and ansible * Solid working knowledge of Frameworks including MVC -Require, Restful, Promise, Backbone, AngularJs or any kind of JavaScript framework. * Strong problem solving skills and abilities a must * Responsive design and multiple discipline background will be a strong plus. * Good communication skills (tech documentation written, client/customer verbal) a strong plus. * Defensive programming around risk and cyber tools and issues (BlackDuck, Fortify, ITRC, etc.) a strong plus. * Equal ability/willingness to work in legacy and new applications and technologies. * Batch processing and database skill are a plus * Object oriented design skills and familiarity with advanced design patterns and practices * Proven experience in building scalable and robust applications * Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills * Willingness to dive into new areas to learn and drive solutions * Participate in design sessions with fellow developers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. * Understanding of, and adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporation of Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. * Agile practitioner
