The successful candidate works directly with IT leaders in our Claims, Disputes and Fraud Operations team to provide practical IT roadmaps and product solutions that meet standards and strategies laid out globally (JPMC-wide) and specific to Consumer and Community Banking Operations. You will be driving the optimization of the product portfolio reducing the number of applications by aligning features to target state solutions and partnering closely with aligned teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and roadmaps.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Prior database experience implementing solutions on Oracle, Cassandra, or equivalent large-scale databases * Experience creating domain models, reference architectures, sequences diagrams, and architecture artifacts that guide design decisions related to applications, data and infrastructure * Prior software development experience including Java and JavaScript desired; Cloud development frameworks preferred * Prior experience leading and collaborating with software engineers, infrastructure engineers and site resiliency engineers to apply modern application development tools and practices including: + Cloud platforms deployment + System resiliency engineering + Microservices design + Domain driven design techniques + Agile practices applied to a product team + Continuous integration and continuous deployment best practice + Appropriate application of distributed, open solutions such as Cassandra, Camunda, and Kafka * Systematically identify common capabilities across projects and formally propose restructuring of projects, investments, or designs to accommodate broader enterprise objectives within the company's current active project portfolio * Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes with effective communication skills to influence a decision * Bring thought leadership & work collaboratively across the firm-wide CIO organization on innovation, improvement & efficiency programs.
