We are growing! We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Developer / Technical Lead to join our ServiceNow team.

What you will do:

  • Work with team members, stakeholders, developers, and practice leads to manage ServiceNow efforts from inception through release

  • Ensure best practice processes for ServiceNow are established and being followed

  • Manage requirements, estimates, and timelines for ServiceNow stories, and any enhancements

  • Communication of effort status and expectations with all parties

  • Manage the release calendar based on priority and capacity

  • Run scrum meetings, and manage the burn rates, and release capacity

  • Identify and remove blockers of all ServiceNow issues/defects

  • Conduct code reviews, ensure version control, and manage conflict resolution

  • Design and develop solutions that leverage ServiceNow modules such as HR, ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, Knowledge, and ITOM using configuration and custom JavaScript

  • Design and develop integrations to other applications and platforms

  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems as it relates to ServiceNow and any of its integrations.

  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow Platform

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience with the design, development, and support of ITSM technology

  • At least 5 years of ServiceNow administration and hands-on coding or development

  • At least 3 years of Technical Lead / Project Management experience

  • Strong general ServiceNow domain and platform knowledge, and coding experience.

  • Specific experience with ServiceNow HR, ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB

  • Strong Ajax, Server-side scripting, script-includes, and JavaScript hands-on coding experience.

  • Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5

  • Integration experience (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML).

  • Experience using Workflow Editor, Flow Designer to configure workflows

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

  • Experience with disciplined software release build/deploy processes

  • Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer for Quebec and beyond and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator for Quebec and beyond

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certification

  • Project Management Certification

  • Experience with CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery

  • Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
