DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Responsible for key projects to move from physical servers to internal GAIA Cloud environment. Develop User Interface (UI) and Web Services components for internal fraud/authentication application. Maintain existing code base and enhance product with new functionality when required, triaging production support issues. Work with business analysts and users to design new functionality. Responsible for Cassandra DB product and coding accordingly. Perform all duties in accordance with JPMC policies and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of application development experience for user interface and services, and cloud experience, or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with cloud computing concepts for code development. Demonstrated knowledge of physical server deployment and execution. Experience with full-stack Java development. Experience creating and maintaining RESTful and SOAP services using core Java/J2EE development. Experience with user interface coding using jQuery, JavaScript, Angular and HTML5. Experience with performance enhancing technology solutions including multi-threading and caching. Experience designing new systems using object-oriented design. Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra or Mongo). Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
