We are looking for a full stack application developer to work in Glasgow (UK). Work includes application development using Java, Micro-services, API and UI development.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Understanding of architecture and design across all systems * Working proficiency in developmental toolsets * Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals * Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages * Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement * Designing of robust and scalable solutions to support Enterprise applications * Develop robust and scalable enterprise level solutions using REST, Kafka, MQ and other standard channels. * Develop and support middleware applications using Java / Open Source * Provide second level support to fixes and solutions for issues in production * Enhance and maintain applications and components for Asset Management team * Degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute * Experience driving large scale technology transformation efforts using Micro services architecture on cloud environment * Experience in digesting and understanding user requirements and designing new modules/features to meet those needs * Good analytical skills for effective problem solving * Aptitude and enthusiasm for development of technical solutions to address business problems * Willingness to learn new technologies * Good communication skills * A drive to build high-quality resilient solutions

Successful candidate will require the following skills: * Hands on techno-functional experience in architecting, building, and supporting scalable multi-tenant distributed applications for product and financial companies * Deep understanding around containerizing, deploying, and scaling application and micro services using Docker and Kubernetes * Excellent understanding and hands on experience is a must on Java Design Patterns, Core Java, J2EE Frameworks like spring , Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA, Messaging Middleware (Kafka and MQ) and CI/CD pipeline. * Strong HANDS ON development using REST, Web services and API development. * Hands-on experience with UI development with React JS/Node JS. * Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and relational databases * Sound knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
