Duties: Design, develop, and implement software using modern software development tools and techniques. Work on all stages of the project life cycle from scoping and design to implementation and operation, applying best practices in engineering to automate the full software development pipeline. Build and deliver full stack, realtime, straight through processing solutions to support margin calculation and collateral management, integrating with the end to end platforms and business processes for CIB front-office, risk, and finance. Develop real-time, distributed systems with Web based user interfaces. Develop best practices such as object-oriented design, welldefined service interfaces, test-driven development, and automation. Work with clustered distributed persistence; parallel distributed processing, microservices, and designing/developing for the cloud using various programming technologies. Support the next generation Margin & Collateral Management platform for JPMorgan Corporate Investment Bank (CIB).
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.
