DESCRIPTION: Design, implement, and test applications. Document application designs, develop appropriate applications, and perform unit tests. Ensure compliance to business requirements, and maintain accuracy. Recommend enhancements to designs, and prepare software for all reuse. Set development standards in areas of code quality, test coverage, monitoring, logging, exception management, and documentation. Design code for system design, and prepare efficient application programming interfaces. Design technical system documents and architectural standards. Ensure quality of deliverables. Maintain records of maintenance releases for applications and maintain knowledge of enhancements. Resolve emergency production issues and ensure appropriate resolution of issues within required time frame.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Software Engineer/Developer, Computer Programmer, IT Analyst, Technology Associate, Module Lead, or related occupation.
