Description

Duties: Responsible for developing high fidelity, high quality applications with sophisticated client interactions solutions for our corporate and investment banking clients. Provide server-side development support to build and deliver solutions to external/internal users supporting business capabilities around the trade lifecycle. Engage with various stakeholders across business, UX, product, tech, operations, etc. Involve in various technologies stacks including API, cloud, dev ops, big data, microservices, etc. Design, analyze, develop, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas. Translate, load and present disparate data sets in multiple formats/sources including JSON, Avro, Kafka queues etc. Translate functional and technical requirements into detail design. Responsible for application performance tuning and troubleshooting. Participate in analysis of data stores and help with data analytics.Ensure solutions developed adhere to security and data entitlements.

Qualifications

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), or related field.

Minimum experience required: 7 years of experience in software development, or related experience. Experience in leading a small team of developers.

Skills Required: Experience with application architecture, design and development. Experience with cloud and Microservices. Application security experience. REST/JSON/XML Web APIs Development experience. Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security experience. Experience in Kafka/IBM MQ. Testing frameworks experience, including Cucumber, Selenium, and Junit. Experience automating builds with Maven using CI Servers like Jenkins. Experience with SQL & Database - Oracle. Experience with Java performance tuning, debugging and Profiling Tools. Operating Systems experience using Linux, Unix Solaris. Code Repositories experience using SVN, GIT/Bitbucket. Experience with unit testing. Demonstrated knowledge of Mock Testing Frameworks like EasyMock or Mockito.
