The Java Development Lead/ Software Engineer will be accountable for the design, execution and development of business features and integration into the trust administration and accounting vendor platform used to support the International Trusts Business of JPMorgan Wealth Management. You will be tasked with keeping the team and key stakeholders up-to-speed on what is being developed, as well as how it will benefit our clients on our market leading digital platform. Your quest to embrace end-to-end software development will be key as we continue to move the Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) Technology organization at the forefront of industry-leading technology. Best of all, you will be able to harness the massive amount of innovation and thought leadership of our global team of technologists from around the world.
This role will be based from our Glasgow, United Kingdom office and requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* You will design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot following TDD approach * You will build secure/resilient/scalable services to deploy on Cloud infrastructure * You will work with Design leads and Architects in developing world class technology solutions * Work with Product owners and promote agile best practices within the team to lead Java delivery pipeline * Work in collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
