As Software Engineer, you will first and foremost be passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with our many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. You will have: * Development experience with Java and related toolsets/technologies * Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud-based micro-services architectures using SpringBoot * Experience with relational databases and SQL (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, etc.) * Strong inter-personal skills * The ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

You will be: * Hands-on, applied and delivery focused * A skilled problem-solver with excellent analytical abilities * Open minded and keen to work in a team environment * Passionate about building an innovative culture

In addition, it would be an advantage if you have familiarity with any of the following: * Messaging/streaming technologies and stream-based architectures (Kafka) * GraphQL API design and implementation * Full stack development across all three tiers - web UI (ReactJS), Java and database (Oracle or similar RDBMSs)
