Key Responsibilities: * This individual must be a self-starter with a strong focus to provide innovative solutions at all levels of needs, whether it is working on big initiatives, small enhancements, remediation of risk/issues, or compliance with firm wide policies. * Work in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and deliver on multiple project streams simultaneously. * Contribute to the design and development of E2E projects. * Lead and participate design discussions, create designs documentation. * Follow SDLC / Agile best practices such continuous integration, automated unit test and regression testing, etc. and focus on end to end quality of the delivery. * Work collaboratively in a team with architects, developers, sharing ideas to solve complex and challenging business problems. * Interface with Business users as necessary for defining requirements and streamlining design. * Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to coding standards. * Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. * Provide thorough estimations of build and test efforts on new initiatives.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field with preferred focus on Information Systems. * Overall 10+ years development experience. * Familiar with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, LEAN, etc. * Usage of Agile software engineering practices on at least 3 projects (Continuous Integration, Unit Tests, Test Driven Development) * Experience working on SaaS solutions * Excellent communication and writing skills
Required Technical Expertise: * Demonstrated proficiency in following technologies is required: + Java SE & EE + RESTful Web Services, JSON + Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring JDBC + Unix/Linux Shell Scripting + Build automation - Jenkins, Maven + Cloud computing + Experience in Microservice Design and implementation + Experience in identifying and resolving performance hotspots in Java Application * Proficiency in following technologies is preferred + Working experience in AngularJS, Node JS + Experience with AWS
