Commercial Loan Portal is a Digital team in Commercial Bank Wholesale Loan Technology. We build digital capabilities for Commercial Loan Servicing on existing digital platforms - JP Morgan Access, JP Morgan Online and Chase Connect to create additional business opportunities by allowing our clients to self-service their Commercial Loans online while providing a superior customer experience through a competitive platform and additional functionality.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * 5 - 10 years of experience in Java * Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes * Object Oriented full lifecycle software design and development. * Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: Full stack Java, SQL, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MQ, Java Multithreading, Security, Performance, Apache and Tomcat * Experience working in one or more databases: Oracle, DB2 * Experience with micro services design and implementation using REST APIs * Experience with Spring Data / Hibernate, REST services, JavaScript frameworks - AngularJS/Javascript/jQuery, Bootstrap * Experience in building applications with microservices patterns and being cloud ready * Knowledge with messaging applications like MQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ * Working proficiency in development toolsets like eclipse, IntelliJ, Bit Bucket * Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals * Strong communication skills and working in a team environment * Desire to build high quality applications by creating a well-designed architecture; writing clean code; creating reusable components and strategic frameworks across multiple lines of business using latest technologies; and implementing common industry practices such as continuous integration and significant unit test code coverage.

Additional skills a plus, but not essential * Development or support experience of portals used by external clients * Experience in application testing and monitoring frameworks - jMeter, AppDynamics, Geneos, Fitnesse etc. * Experience with AngularJs, ReactJs or similar javascript framework, HTML5 * Experience with developing and maintaining applications in Amazon Web Services(AWS) and/or other public/private cloud desirable * Experience with Elastic Search, GraphQL, Drools desirable * Experience with Performance engineering desirable * Working knowledge of Loan IQ UI, APIs and data model * Experience working in a financial services environment * Knowledge of Loans products and servicing
