As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission is to contribute in our team of innovators and technologists towards creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. You will work on engineering modernization of Investment Banking CRM applications, and will partner with Banking and Technology teams to develop and deliver key initiatives throughout the deal lifecycle. In addition, close partnership with product owners will enable the formulation of multi-year strategies ranging from inter-bank initiatives, business and technology disruptors and internal development where efficiency; data insight and market advantage are the priority. Technology alignment with industry practices around Microservices, CI/CD pipeline, DevOps is critical to achieving accelerated development and deliver. Key Responsibilities include: * Develop high quality software, adopting the Software Delivery Lifecycle tools, following Architecture patterns and Agile best practices * Utilize tools, technology and various methodologies to lead, guide and train a team of software engineers * Develop and deliver on the strategic architectural vision for the CRM suite of applications * Work with the Product owner to align with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information * Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events * Contribute to the architectural blueprints and technical leadership * Suggest and implement solutions for process improvements

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * Computer Science and/or Engineering degrees are preferred while other degree subjects may be considered * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * 5+ years' experience in Java/JavaScript/Full Stack * 3+ years' experience in micro service architectures * Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization * Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL, Spring, TDD etc.), databases, data structures, and algorithms * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment * Exceptional problem-solving ability * A well-rounded academic background is important.
