Our development team is focused on building the next generation payment platform for JPMC. We leverage cutting edge open source technologies to deliver a resilient and scalable distributed platform. We have ambitious plans for our global program spanning the next decade.

We are looking for quality, hands on and passionate technologies that will thrive in our cutting edge and delivery focused environment. * Will work as a developer in the new strategic payment platform "Graphite" which requires excellent Java and communication skills * Will primarily partner with technology teams delivering common cross cutting services and frameworks, support delivery of business initiatives * Will partner with Production Management and SRE groups improving system observability, reliability and automated recovery * Will work in a component team on all parts of SDLC and will require a "T-shaped" mindset * Will support test cycles, release and migration activates to ensure complete delivery * Will ensure personal and teams continuous improve with a lean focus on efficiency.

Qualifications * Java developers with extensive experience with hands on coding and ability to work with others * Understanding of transaction processing systems and the design patterns for managing high volume, concurrency, resiliency and scalability

* Big data management * Agile practises and development methodology * Spring Boot * Messaging systems including Kafka, AMPS and MQ * DBs inc Cassandra and relational * TDD/BDD * Ability to accurately diagnose and support performance and production issues

Desired * UI experience particularly React * General cloud deployment knowledge (primarily Kubernetes)
