The Chase Consumer & SB Payments team is responsible for enhancing the desktop/mobile/tablet experiences for our current and prospective Chase customers. The Consumer & SB Payments DevOps Team is looking for an engineer with a strong technical skillset, SRE mindset and a thorough understanding of the agile development process. As a DevOps team member, you will part of a team that dives into the platform architecture of the app CI/CD environment. You will be involved in the development and enhancement of the existing IAC and containerization, expanding the CI/CD observability and tools used as part of the release cycle. In addition, you'll be part of a team focusing on expanding new features to the internal applications used as part of the suite of services leveraged by the app dev and QA teams. The candidate will help develop and lead new technology choices and engineering, collaborating with product management, user experience for functional and non-functional requirements and deploying cloud native applications to test, UAT and environments.

The ideal candidate will: * Have strong communication skills and be able to mentor and educate others on DevOps / SRE principles and practices. * Have the troubleshooting skills to identify and mitigate difficult and complex technical problems and the coding skills to resolve those problems permanently through engineering and automation * Be able to work as part of a global team to achieve project and organizational goals * Be able to create high quality software using Agile/Scrum development practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Groovy, etc) * Exhibit an infrastructure / config / everything as code mindset * Participated in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development environment * Have experience with Incident and Problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication * BS degree or equivalent experience
