JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its consumer business by launching a new digital bank in the UK. We will offer consumers a completely new banking choice when we launch in the coming months. Using the Chase brand, the bank will provide products and features tailored to meet the needs of customers in the U.K., delivered via an innovative mobile app.
Our team is at the heart of building this new venture, focused on developing offerings that put the customer at the center. We have created a new organization and we are looking for solution-oriented, commercially minded, customer-focused test engineers, used to working in an agile environment who want to be a part of building something new from the ground up within a diverse and inclusive team.

We are looking for a hands-on test engineer/lead that is both customer and quality focused. In doing so, someone who can drive and execute UAT/BAT activities across the team.
As UAT Test Engineer/Lead you will be responsible for: * Working with key stakeholders to plan, define, execute, and report on UAT/BAT activities * UAT-based production smoke testing * Proactively delivering and executing acceptance criteria and their execution * Following-up on production and UAT found defects to ensure systematic root cause and escape defect analysis where appropriate * Managing teams of UAT volunteers and organizing tests appropriately * Working with UAT volunteers and product teams to ensure that tests are executed, issues resolved and test reports are written * Be part of a squad working on sprint deliverables and preparing for next sprint activities * Train product owners in acceptance criteria writing and helping adoption of Gherkin or such tool * Accountable for adherence to established test standards and procedures. * Daily interaction with a global team.
Your skills and experience should include: * Defining acceptance criteria and test script design using Gerkin/Cucumber format * Developing test strategies and plans for UAT and BAT activities * UAT Experience * Good organization and planning skills * Test execution of UAT and BAT acceptance criteria working with key stakeholder and business teams as required * Working knowledge of SQL, Mobile and Web testing methods. * Proven experience in all aspects of functional and regression testing * Defect management experience * Experience and knowledge of root cause and/or escape defect analysis * Attitude for analyzing defect and test data to provide quality metrics and reports * Strong time management, interpersonal and people skills * Strong facilitation skills * Utilizes active communication techniques * Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-task / multi priority environment across a global team * Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset * Exposure to web technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, JS REACT, etc.)
