JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its consumer business by launching a new digital bank in the UK. We will offer consumers a completely new banking choice when we launch in the coming months. Using the Chase brand, the bank will provide products and features tailored to meet the needs of customers in the U.K., delivered via an innovative mobile app.
Our team is at the heart of building this new venture, focused on developing offerings that put the customer at the center. We have created a new organization and we are looking for solution-oriented, commercially minded, customer-focused test engineers, used to working in an agile environment who want to be a part of building something new from the ground up within a diverse and inclusive team.

We are looking for a hands-on quality lead / engineer that is both customer and quality focused. In doing so, someone who is data-driven, has a technical background, and is able to drive quality engineering practice across the teams.
As a Quality Lead / Engineer you will be responsible for: * Working with key stakeholders to define and report on software quality metrics * Ensure effective defect management across the teams * Drive root cause/escape defect analysis across the teams * Work with teams to identify and track quality improvement actions * Define and maintain quality and test engineering CI/CD dashboards * Track and drive compliance to key quality and test standards/controls * Working with tribes and squads to review quality and test metrics * Providing reports on quality status to key stakeholders
Your skills and experience should include: * Strong analytical skills * Experience in defining and implementing test strategies * Defect management experience * Knowledge of software quality engineering techniques desirable e.g. reliability modelling etc. * Strong appreciation of software engineering practices * Experience with CI/CD controls e.g. static code analysis, automated testing etc. * Experience and knowledge of root cause and/or escape defect analysis * Attitude for analyzing defect and test data to provide quality metrics and reports * Strong time management, interpersonal and people skills * Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills * Utilizes active communication techniques * Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-task / multi priority environment across a global team * Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset * Exposure to web technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, JS REACT, etc.)
General skills * Ability to work in a collaborative environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality maintainable solutions. * Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team * Ability to focus on promptly addressing customer needs * Ability to work within a diverse and inclusive team * Technically curious, self-motivated, versatile and solution oriented * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
