Securities Services Business provides trade processing functions for external clients. Trade processing services include third party valuation, accounting, net asset value calculation, settlement, confirmation, and clearing.
We are extendinhg our OTC Derivatives development team in London with outstanding developers with Python software development, project management and people management skills. The successful candidate will be leading an Athena development for our OTC Derivative processing system, supporting products across asset classes such as credit, rates and equities. Knowledge of OTC Derivative products would be an advantage.
The role involves leading a group of developers in London and hands on development in Athena, a Python-based proprietary platform. It will additionally involve enhancement and support of Java-based system components.
You will work with a globally distributed development team and will have end-to-end ownership of the code you deliver, from analysis and design through implementation, testing and deployment to production. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Expertise in Python development * Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems * Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices * Keen understanding of project maangement * People management experience * Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals * Passionate about building an innovative culture * Good understanding of OTC Derivative products * Experience in L3 support * Experience with SQL / NoSql databases
