Duties: Provide issue resolution support by troubleshooting issues encountered in non-production and production environments. Troubleshoot incidents in WebSphereMQ Ubiquitous Messaging (UM) and environment issues assigned as defects and related to technology attributes. Trace/capture Java and .net application logs for troubleshooting incidents, as well as, develop, plan, and implement environment resource plans and allocations. Trace logs for Middleware applications on Websphere and Apache servers, as well as user interface application logs on Microsoft IIS servers. Coordinate with infrastructure, development, release management, and devops teams to resolve incidents impacting the functionality of firm's online platform for system integration testing and QA environments. Work with line-of-business (LOB) leads on deployments, ensuring business and client needs are being met.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills: SQL; Apache Web and Tomcat application server; WebSphere JVM tuning and proactive monitoring; SQL querying; Linux debugging; Splunk; Developing build and deployment scripts using Apache ANT and Shell scripts; CI CD pipelines, AWS cloud, Dockers and containers; and developing applications using Java, Apache ANT, or WebSphere application server.
