As an experienced Software Engineer your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. You will be working as a hands on Java/Python Developer delivering key Market business controls and running a small team of other developers. In addition to owning an existing set of features & services you will also own a new controls framework orientated around machine learning to assist identify patterns of data from a controls perspective.
Responsibilities; * Providing coaching, support and mentoring to other team members * Working on test driven development, test automation, using mocking framework like Mockito * Participating in all stages of the application development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing and production support * Coming up with new and innovative ways to solve complex technical problems and improve continuously * Participating in agile / scrum ceremonies - Daily stand-up, planning and demos, understanding feedback and applying to future endeavours
