Roles & Responsibilities * Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements * Is able to influence teams with design strategies, right tool adoption and practices for Java development and Agile adoption. * Work proactively with CCB Digital developers, managers and business partners to develop, coordinate, communicate and enforce testing schedules, and deliverables * Utilize excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills. * Ability to work proficiently and effectively in an Agile / Scrum feature team environment * Provide support to the application in terms of analyzing issues, finding root cause of prod issues and providing resolution to the issues * Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team members * Adapt Devops model of continuous and automated integration, test and delivery * Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions * Willingness to participate in a rotational basis to provide 24/7 application support, and to perform occasional weekday releases.
Basic Qualifications - * + Must have experience developing services with Java 8 and Spring Boot with REST and JSON. + Experience in delivering end-to-end technology solutions using Java/J2EE. + Experience with NoSQL database experience (Cassandra) is desired. + Experience with event driven technologies such as Kafka, MQ is desired. + Functional testing with Cucumber and other Mock frameworks is a plus. + Experience with Front End technologies (JavaScript, React, AngularJS) is desired. + Hands on with Maven, Git or related build and source control tools. + Knowledge with Java related open source technologies. + Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jules) + Experience in deploying applications for the Cloud; preferably with Cloud Foundry. + Motivated, self-learning individual , will be able to mentor/guide other team members.
