As a QA Engineer in Mobile Centre of Excellence, you will be part of a successful team of passionate technologists who create cutting edge applications used around the world. Role * Be responsible for ensuring that all testing activities in one of our key product development teams building native iOS and Android mobile applications happens in a risk-based manner * Be comfortable working independently as sole QA expert in an agile team, c ollaborating closely with developers, managers and business teams. * Write effective automated tests to test features as part of sprint or soon after, while also ensuring new/changed functionality is tested thoroughly first. * Work closely with developers in coaching them on writing effective automated tests. * Share experiences and expertise as part of Mobile QA team with opportunities to influence our overall testing approach by discovering and adopting best testing practices, tools within the firm as well as external industry trends. * Embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly striving for improvement and learning. * You'll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.
Interested? This is what you will have * Proven experience providing quality assurance for high-quality native/hybrid mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) * Love to understand every detail of a product and improve it for great user experience by planning test scenarios at the start of development, testing it thoroughly during agile development process, develop sufficient automated tests as part of development and coordinating sufficient levels of regression test cycles during the release phase. * Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Kotlin or Swift. However, strong knowledge in other languages would also be considered - Java, Javascript, Python. * Experience building or contributing to improvement of test automation frameworks. * Experience testing applications in isolation at different layers: UI, services, database by setting up right test data and choosing appropriate test tools. * Excellent communication and analytical skills to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced, tight deadlines environment
Desirable Skills/Experience * Experience using an IDE such as Xcode, Android Studio, IntelliJ * Experience using Load/Performance testing tools. * ISTQB or other standard testing certification.
