Role: As full-stack software engineer you will develop a product that processes roughly 50M messages through Flink a day from our bots, and then stores the messages in a Cassandra/JanusGraph big data store. From there we build models using Python/OmniAI and then serve up insights via java micro-services or use them for anomaly detection in our Flink jobs. We also have a UI that uses an internal Micro-UI framework. We have plans to be 95% in the cloud by 2021. This is a full-stack developer position, and you will be expected to develop 70% and support/improve your own components when they break 30%. We have no ops team - our litmus test is that we should be able to go on vacation for 6 months - and our bots and services should autonomously continue to operate and also keep themselves up to date.
