As a senior leader in Software Engineering, you will be critical to driving language, framework and tool adoption across JPMC. You will be a member of a highly skilled team of cross-functional engineers that are solving some of the hardest problems in the Chief Technology Office. We look for individuals that have both a wide breadth of knowledge across many technology domains, as well as having expert-level skills in multiple languages/frameworks. Your focus will be on the end to end experience for our global development workforce in one or more language domains. Main Responsibilities: * Create and communicate strategic direction and roadmap for one or more programming languages at JPMC. * Partner with teams across the Global Technology organization to implement industry-standard developer experience and SDLC solutions for one or more programming languages at JPMC. * Work collaboratively to ensure team and organization standards are followed and the team is consistently focused on continuous improvements and sustained delivery. * Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to drive business value. * Be passionate about technology and constantly seek ways of learning new technology and practices. * Mentor organization to progress their technical and professional skills. Be open and actively seeking learning opportunities from more senior team members.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent. * 10+ years experience working as a software engineer * Comfortable as a hands on developer with a strong desire to continue to grow this skill * Technologies + Languages - Expert-level with at least two languages and multiple frameworks (such as Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django, JavaScript/React, etc). + Cloud Related Technologies - Experience with IaaS, PaaS and Kubernetes in a Hybrid Cloud Environment. + Git - Strong experience working with an SCM such as Git. + Database - Strong implementation skills across a wide range of database solutions. * Engineering Practices + TDD - Practical experience with unit testing and driving organizations to adopt + Pair Programming - Practical experience with promoting the practice. * Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms)
