Duties: Develop and support batch and web applications within mature technology environments. Document detailed application specifications. Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules. Develop and enhance software application modules. Participate in standard development life cycle methodologies. Contribute to the technical codebase including any required documentation.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, Application or Software Development, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience instead of a master's degree and one (1) year of experience.

Skills Required: Application, data, and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies infrastructure architecture disciplines; Architecture and design across systems including working with IntelliJ, and Toad; At least one programming language including Java; Business analyst techniques including converting to technical specifications; Software development and maintenance; Agile software improvement; J2EE; DB2; Angular; SQL; Spring framework; Spring Boot; PL/SQL; Scripting with JavaScript; Restful web services; Microservices; Development and Information Technology Operations; and automation such as Selenium and restful web services.
