DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop and automate payment processing platforms to support the firm's merchant services and replace legacy systems. Design and develop applications based on microservices architecture using Java based Springboot framework. Implement distributed streaming through event based design using Spring cloud stream Kafka supported by Reactive programming with Spring Webflux framework. Design and implement data models using no SQL databases like Cassandra, design and develop automation scripts for feature validation and align with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber and Java frameworks. Design and create performance automation scripts using JMeter or Blazemeter. Validate web services using SOAP UI, Postman automation, and related. Build applications using build tool Maven and automate deployment using Jenkins to implement CI/CD process in internal Cloud. Implement logging using Sleuth and monitoring the applications using tools such as Dynatrace. Use tools such as IntelliJ-IDE, Eclipse-IDE, GIT, Jira, and related tools to plan, design, and develop applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Projects Associate, Test Automation Associate, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: operating systems including Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and UNIX; Java; Spring; Hibernate; JPA; Servlets; J2EE; HTML; CSS; Java Script; XML; XSL; JSON; JDBC; C; C++; Selenium; web services including REST and SOAP; Kafka; application and web servers; Apache Tomcat; Apache HTTP Server; frameworks including Cucumber, ATDD, and HP Service Virtualization; Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or IntelliJ; Oracle; MySql; Cassandra; Maven 2.0; Argo UML; Jude; Microsoft Visio; test tools including SOAP UI, Postman, Chrome Developer Tools, JIRA, JMeter, and Blazemeter; GIT; and Jenkins.
