DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Participate in the design, analytics, development, and testing of critical JPMC applications, ensuring both business and functional requirements are met. Responsible for production support for all internally and externally developed systems and applications. Provide technical planning and interpret business strategy into target state architecture utilizing design patterns such as Micro Services and Mono Repo. Analyze business requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how the applications can best be functionally built to those needs. Perform project task estimation, resource scheduling, and risk management of new and ongoing projects. Responsible for the analysis, technical design, development and testing of technology solutions that meet stated business and system functional requirements and adhere to best practices and architecture standards. Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, and release scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as an IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in lieu of the Master's degree and five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: SQL; JAVA; Micro Services; Type Script; Relational Database Management Systems; and JavaScript. This position requires 5% international travel.
