JPMorgan's Digital Platform team builds forward-looking, foundational technologies and core capabilities for future technology platforms. The foundational services technology team are responsible for building core platform solutions like Cloud enablement, Identity, Streaming systems, Business Intelligence and Monitoring systems and other core digital products to support developers creating novel consumer experiences and workplace/productivity products.

As an experienced software engineer, you'll drive and execute product vision, build highly technical solutions, partner with other groups and guide the team(s) through key milestones. We're looking for an exceptional technologist who has a strong interest in digital technologies, public / private cloud, and thrives on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with teams within digital platforms and other application teams to: * Strategize and develop foundational services and frameworks * Be hands-on with certifying integrity and quality of code and design * Develop cloud native interoperable solutions for foundational platforms and products * Champion software engineering best practices in all stages * Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products * Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm * Detail-oriented coupled with the ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness * Passionate about building an innovative culture and products

Your Background:

You are a seasoned hands-on software engineer and have: * BS/MS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent with 5+ years of industry experience * 3+ years of experience in developing enterprise solutions in public/private cloud * Polyglot programming skills with Java and other languages like JavaScript/Golang/Python. Expert level skills with distributed databases, NoSQL, and performance tuning. * Experience in Microservices development * Experience with Docker, Terraform * Experience with Kubernetes or Container Oriented Infrastructure * Experience building high-volume and resilient application(s) * Strong CS fundamentals, data structures & algorithms, networking, and systems * Great work ethics and can work with ambiguity and deliver concrete outcomes
