Job Description

The Analytics Solutions Associate Sr - PYTHON/REACT is an individual contributor who should be able to build complex data driven tools and solutions for the business management analytics products. He/she should be able to work across teams to design, develop, and evaluate and execute against those solutions with a keen functional understanding of the business problem. He/she will be responsible for translating requirements into UI tools for data sourcing, research and meaningful output for the end users.

The position will serve as a thought leader including advising on optimal solutions and opining on challenger models. The role works on strategic, highly visible projects firm wide. It is an opportunity to have meaningful impact on a large scale at a leading financial services firm. The role will develop data-centric solutions that move the bottom line for the firm.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent * Proficient in Object Oriented programming on Python and Django framework * Experience of Web UI development such as Angular or REACT * Strong background on RDBMS and NoSQL databases * Familiar with Test Driven Development, functional testing, integration testing and end-end test automation process * Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go * Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability to deliver high-quality products * Instrumental in solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDK * Understanding of Kubernetes, GAP, APIGEE and cloud services * Excellent problem solving, communications, and teamwork skills * Financial service background preferred, but not required
