DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. Drive design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and be responsible for the design delivery. Insure scrum team incorporate security requirements into design. Provide input to information and data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop and enhance software application modules. Perform code reviews and ensure that solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. Support issues on production environments and work with production support team to resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Team Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience instead of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills and technologies: Cloud developer programs and software including Gaia (GAP and GKP), Pivotal cloud foundry, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, and Cloud frameworks such as Netflix Eureka, or Spring Cloud Gateway; Cloud Architecture and Enterprise Architecture including Microservice, domain driven architecture, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices including Jules and Jenkins, Event driven architecture and Service Oriented Architecture; Core Full stack development programs and software including Kafka, Java Message Service, Java, J2EE, Web services, Service Oriented Architecture, Restful Web services, Angular 2, Ext-JS, Java Server Faces, Java Server Pages Spring, Hibernate, IBatis, JASPER, Apache POI, ITEXT, Oracle, Maria DB, MYSQL Database, Cassandra, and performance tools such as Jmeter and Blaze meter; Monitoring tools such as WILY or Dyna Trace; Big data and stream including Core Spark, spark SQL, SCALA, and Hadoop; Developing applications supporting the financial technology business management platform or Financial modeling platform; Technology products and process supporting budget and planning process; Agile methodologies, including Scrum; Design Patterns, programming, and design techniques; SOAP Web Service, REST, web development experience with focus on rich User Interface component development, JavaScript MVC based frameworks and HTML5; Build Driven Design, including Gherkin, Cucumber, and Selenium; Performance testing using JMeter; Database performance tuning; Monitoring tools such as WILY, App Dynamics, or HP Business Service Management; Backend function experience building services and API architecture, working with object oriented design, and server-side design patterns; User Experience design, best practices, and User Interface experience through the software development life cycle; Libraries, including jQuery, Backbone, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React, and Redux; and, development life cycle.
