Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to develop applications and provide tech support for all our corporate functions across our network. The Platform Services Database Product Line is responsible for defining, developing, engineering and operating Database products consumed by our Application Development Partners across the firm. Our Product Portfolio includes Private and Public Cloud offerings. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Infrastructure Engineer with the desire to drive the modernization of our Products, you will have particular responsibility for the engineered systems components that runs Oracle databases within our internal private cloud.

The role will require proficiency in all aspects of software development, responsibilities include: * Analyzes, designs, engineers, installs, configures and supports Database Management systems (distributed, mid-range, mainframe) in support of business technology requirements; * Partner with our Product Owners and feature teams to create database solutions in Public and Private Cloud platforms. * Provides guidelines/patterns for building highly scalable and performing systems in support of better service level objectives. * Implement solutions with an equal focus on both functional and non-functional requirements * Employ Agile practices; Pair Programming; Continuous Integration; Test Driven Development, etc. * Contribute to the technical code and design documentation. * Conduct solid analysis and problem solving to provide production support and L3 cover

Technical Skills: * Oracle DBA Experience with strong understanding of databases and oracle engineered systems like Exadata, ZFS and ZDLRA * Expert experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infrastructure Database Administrator required * Strong experience working with Oracle versions 12c and 19c in a Linux environment * Experience as an Exadata "Database Machine Administrator\" covering all of database, operating system, and storage administration * Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels) * Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Active Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Golden Gate replication * Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) * Experience architecting, supporting and implementing advanced, strategic database management system * Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, with a background in systems and network administration * Proficient development skills in a dynamic programming language such as Python, Javascript, .NET, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting. * Experience with Microservices is desirable * Experience with Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is advantageous
