Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on improving efficiency in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by integrating software development, testing, support and maintenance, and operations. Responsibilities may include leading cloud enablement, containerization, infrastructure automation, and deployment automation; orchestrating efforts to enable a continuous integration / continuous improvement (CI/CD) pipeline; providing guidance on system options as needed in strategic planning discussions; developing and building technology solutions designed to scale and align with the DevOps model; and collaborating with both software engineers and infrastructure to manage code release.


  • Solution Architect/ Technical Lead for IBM Open Pages GRC Modules to design and develop on RCSA , Issue Management and Compliance Modules.
  • Provide Technical strategies and guidance to guide the technology part of the company in the right direction.
  • Involved in working with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and leading by example to other application development groups..
  • Participate in Fix the bank activities in remdiating MRA, MRIA, Risk and Regulatory Issues.
  • Responsible for Security Framework and design of Open Pages Module.
  • Architects platforms which are highly scalable, responsive and serve as a foundation for building key enterprise components.
  • Involved in all aspects of SDLC process from requirements, design, and build through deployment.
  • Translates business requirements into working foundational components for platform thus ensuring functional and non-functional aspects are met.
  • Effectively identifies opportunities for change, implements change and introduces new concepts, procedures, policies and tools while providing a clear explanation of benefits and purpose.
  • Documenting architectural standards, best practices and mentoring application teams on developing highly distributed, resilient and responsive applications.
  • Provide technical work guidance or mentoring.
  • Facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
  • Prepare and present technical concepts to internal audiences.
  • Solve complex application and data-related problems and be experienced in resolving issues relating to reconciliation controls and data security.
  • Function as SME and supply business and technical knowledge on required subject-areas and systems
  • Develop and document internal Ops Risk Technology standard operating procedures (SOPs), partnering with the Ops Risk Resource Center to ensure process documentation remains current; also, produce documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines
  • A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position; the candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional, global/remote teams


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • 12 years of professional experience working as a and OpenPages GRC lead,Java architect, technical lead, with Technology Experienced in Banking and Financial services
  • OpenPages GRC (7.x, 8.x) technical lead having experience in implementing, upgrading and customizing ORM, FCM, PCM, IAM, TPRM, MRG, ITG modules. Experience with OpenPages 8.X, OpenPages 7.X, configuration changes, version upgrades, fix pack installation, configuring for the task-focused UI (TFUI)
  • Strong experience in developing Workflows, Calculations, helpers, triggers, custom actions, reports, configuring objects, and user dashboards. Hands-on experience in working with utilities such as AURA, FastMap, AFCON, and SiteSync
  • Experience in working with OpenPages 8.X, configuring security domain, user profiles, role templates, views, and security rules. Setting up user level access and views
  • Extensively worked in OpenPages version upgrades, and migration from OP-7.X to OP-8.X. Doing source code remediation for triggers, helpers and reports. Expertise in migrating the existing business logic, configuration, settings and files to new OP version
  • Hands on experience of working with the OpenPages REST API and integrating the GRC system with other enterprise wide systems.Hands-on technical experience in developing software applications on Windows, Unix/Linux environments using Java/J2EE, Spring boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Cloud, design patterns, UI technologies (jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS), Postgres/Oracle databases, and using CI, CD tools like Git, Jenkins, ant, maven, Dockers
  • Software Tech:OpenPages 7.x/8.x, Java, Spring, Spring boot, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful Webservices, Microservice, UI Tech:JavaScript, jQuery, Dojo, JSON, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Databases & Servers: MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, CI / CD / Cloud: Git, RTC, maven, Dockers, Jenkins, Cloud, Tools / Packages: JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Splunk, Rally, HP QC
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operations

  • Strong experience in build/release management

  • Knowledge of load balancing and high availability architectures

  • Ability to work and lead in a group. Has effective listening, excellent negotiation skills, and is an expert coordinator

  • Works effectively in the face of stress, difficult situations, and shifting priorities all while championing the long-term view
