Your job as FPGA Designer
As a FPGA Designer you will create complex HDL designs. Often you will work with large FPGA’s like Zynq Ultrascale+ and Virtex Ultrascale+.You determine how data will be processed and how algorithms will be mapped on the FPGA hardware, making sure you meet timing and resource constraints. Together with hardware engineers you work on pin placement. You will create modules and subcomponents with VHDL and HLS. By simulating you proof the design is working as expected.
You will be part of a team that consists of hardware developers, FPGA developers and embedded software engineers. You will contribute to tech meetings where you are able to share your ideas and help the project move forward in the right direction.
