Duties: Design, develop, deliver Digital Application Programming Interface (API) applications. Provide Application ProgrammingInterface (API) Gateway design and architecture solutions, configure API Gateway interfaces, develop API proxies following APIgovernance standards, implement API security, onboard business consumers to the API Gateway, and assist clients to use APIs.Review detailed designs to ensure appropriate security, scalability, reliability, end user experience, business reports, andanalytics. Develop proof of concepts (POCs) and perform code reviews on APIs. Enhance the API test tools and ensure thatsolutions conform to strategic architectures. Assist the project team with any technical issues related to API design,performance, and API Gateways. Work with external partners to integrate with APIs. Develop mock client applications toperform end-to-end integration, quality assurance, and performance testing. Develop and test various policies for governance,management, and runtime execution of APIs. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure correct setup of servers, loadbalancers, and firewalls, and provide monitoring services. Participate in production monitoring setup and rollout to partners.Responsible for post-project implementation monitoring of product quality and triaging technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, ComputerScience, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years ofexperience as Software/Application Developer, System Engineer, IT/Middleware Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: designing,developing, and delivering applications throughout the software development lifecycle process; creating design specificationsand building REST services using open API and governance standards; Spring Framework components including Tomcat, JSON,and node.js; API design and development using API management and API Gateway tools including Apigee, IBM API Connect andIBM Datapower; Quality Assurance (QA) testing and performance testing; monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace; ITsecurity using OWASP, SAML, OAuth, and PKI; implementing data security and standards including data masking, encryption,decryption, RSA Keys, SSK, and digital signatures; production documentation support and maintenance; working withInfrastructure teams and vendors for setting up new servers, updating firmware, creating load balancers, firewalls, andimplementing High-Availability Disaster Recovery solutions; and working with external and internal consumers for onboardingand offboarding onto API Gateway.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
