Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.
Duties: Participate in the development of complex, high-volume and scalable software applications that incorporate Robotic process automation (RPA), developed with Blue Prism process automation software. Define, design, develop, test and implement software applications and solutions that support digital banking operations. Provide technical expertise infrastructure, integration, performance, cloud and best practices. As an RPA platform expert, with deep technical and functional knowledge, undertake design and code reviews. Ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and internal standards. Define standards and methods for technical implementation. Create workflows, configure and extend objects, and implement system logic necessary to satisfy technical requirements. Work with database administrators, business users, testers, middleware, system engineers, network engineers, to ensure data consistency, security and privacy. Configure applications and enhancements, and work with end-users to resolve production issues, highlight technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field followed by 5 years of progressive experience in the position offered or in a related position. Full term of required experience must include: Utilization of Blue Prism to develop complex, high-volume and scalable RPA applications; Integration of applications including Web Services, WCF, Rest API’s, GUI, etc., with workflow and automation tools including Blue Prism; Troubleshooting Blue Prism architecture issues; Writing custom .Net code using C#/VB.Net for integrating new features into Blue Prism; Developing RPA prototypes to depict critical requirements to create a plan for operations; Creating standalone tool/services using C#/VB.Net to support digital banking operations; Designing and configuring business use cases using BPM tools; Configuring and troubleshooting end-to-end n-tier applications involving complex intermediate systems; Configuring and troubleshooting certificates (SSL/public/private) in integration of multiple systems; Undertaking Test Driven Development using mocking framework using C# .Net framework 4.5 and above.
