JPMorgan Asset Management Operations Technology Team
The team is responsible for managing the technology to provide scalable solutions to the Operations teams to enable oversight and control through various tools across multiple asset classes. The team is looking for an associate level full stack developer to code some of the critical applications, support the business users and work as part of the global team to deliver high value application components.
Coding, Compiling, Unit testing, integration, packaging and deployment of developed softwareCollaborate with onshore and offshore teams in managing deliverablesCollaborating with other developers to share development solutions, experiences, challenges and best practicesEnsure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and Agile development practiceSupport, analyze and resolve production issues when necessaryParticipate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendationsResearch and evaluate solutions and make recommendationsParticipate in the broader LOB/Firm-wide initiativesTechnical Experience Requirements
Financial service environment including working as part of global teamsHands on experience in building Java, Spring applications is a mustCloud development experience with AWS, Cloud Foundry or similar cloud platform is strongly encouragedWell versed with cloud design patterns.
Experience with TDD & BDDExperience in building both Web Applications and Core Java processesHands on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and/or Sybase TransactSQLUI experience with Angular JS 2 or REACT is recommendedKnowledge of scheduling jobs and UNIX/Linux scripting is preferredHands-on experience of working with Scrum methodology using agile toolingFinancial/Other Requirements
Excellent verbal/written communication is a mustKnowledge of financial services industry is highly recommendedGeneral knowledge of different products and asset classes is requiredThe successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:
