The Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in the success of the organization.Primary responsibilities areDesigns, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirementsIs able to influence teams with design strategies, right tool adoption and practices for Java development and Agile adoption.Drive the overall OPT Development strategy to accelerate preparation and execution of SDLC activitiesWork proactively with CCB OPT developers, managers and business partners to develop, coordinate, communicate and enforce testing schedules, and deliverablesUtilize excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work proficiently and effectively in an Agile / Scrum feature team environmentProvide support to the application in terms of analyzing issues, finding root cause of prod issues and providing resolution to the issuesResearch new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team membersAdapt Devops model of continuous and automated integration, test and deliveryWork with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions

Required Skills:

Minimum of 12+ years of software development experience including, but not limited to, mature design, coding, testing, and debugging skillsExcellent Leadership skills and experience working in Application Development, Quality and Automation teamsAbility to influence teamsExperience in delivering end-to-end technology solutions using Java/J2EE9+ years of Development Experience with Java/J2EE4+ years of experience using UI technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS etc3+ year experience designing and developing applications for the Cloud; preferably with Cloud Foundry1+ in design and developing microservices based on Domain Driven DesignMinimum of three years of work experience in the following areas: Object Oriented analysis and design, TDD/BDD, Design patterns, Database and Javascript frameworks , Web Services (Soap/Rest Based) Development, SOA/MicroservicesMinimum of 5+ years of experience with the following development and build tools (or similar): IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, BitBucket/Git/Gitflow, JMeter/Pasta/Blazemeter, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Spring CloudMinimum of 5+ years of experience in Unix/AIX and WebSphere 7x/8x, DB2/OracleGood knowledge of issue tracking systems, preferably JiraExcellent communication skillsDemonstrates initiative and is a self-starterIs able to work individually with business partners, senior architects and managers to design application roadmapsHigh level of responsibility and Ownership from inception through to implementation

Good to have Skills:
