Full Stack Developer Job Specification / Description (£40k - £50k)

This is an (covid secure) office-based role.

As a leading national home services organisation with its head office in Birmingham, this company looks after thousands of customers each day.  They practice lean thinking, experimentation, and continuous improvement principles.

Now finding their selves on an exciting digital transformation of their infrastructure, systems and processes now require a React Developer with extensive commercial experience, to continue the amazing progress they have made so far.

What you'll need to succeed:

The ideal candidate would enjoy frequently shipping code to production and have a solid understanding of building clean, modular, front-end applications using modern front-end technologies, and be adaptable to change and working with the development team throughout project lifecycles.

You will have used and be experienced with using JavaScript, React, Git,API and Azure.

Day to Day responsibilities:

You will lead the analysis and re-development of the customer and engineer job management system ‘CMS’ and own the customer subscription-based product website and customer portal (React – Azure).

Developer Requirements:

You will work as part of a growing development team designing and developing key software components and modules and take full ownership of their tasks and deliverables.

You will be a good communicator and able to exchange information within the software development team. You will take full ownership of their tasks and deliverables and Identify improvements and opportunities in the development cycle.

You will need a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and demonstrate sound time management skills with discipline around day to day task management

You will live the ethos of continual improvement and have a keen eye for design and/or UX.
