We are looking for a full stack engineer to join our team. We manage a sizable portfolio of internal utility web apps that are used across all of Apple, and as such require a certain level of polish. We are fluent in multiple programming languages, and constantly seek uncommon solutions for the every day problems. An ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment of ever-changing business needs. You have an ability to catch up on mountains of legacy code, and offer solutions towards improving its maintainability, as well as being able to take a brand new tool from a spec to a fully working web app. Most importantly, you are creative and ambitious.In this position, you will have the opportunity to influence the user-facing experience of our tools catalog and in turn influence other tools around Apple. We are looking for a highly creative, detail oriented full stack web developer to create highly usable web applications. We are looking for someone who can turn an idea into fully functional and highly performant web applications utilizing standards compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The candidate must be fluent in writing semantic HTML, complex JavaScript, as well as utilizing current JavaScript frameworks like React and have experience in task runners / bundlers like webpack. This person should have a proven history of innovative user interface design and development.RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with partners to understand the requirements and translate them into measurable tasks- Improve our boilerplate and help reduce our spec-to-app time- Assist in porting our catalog to modern web technologies to reduce future maintenance time-costs- Build pretty and functional things
