The Role

For our cloud-based Business Process Intelligence services we are looking for you, a motivated and well versed senior developer who has an excellent track record in developing enterprise software in the cloud. Join us on our exciting journey to create innovative, high quality cloud Workflow Management services for developers and also Low-Code / No-Code (LCNC) offering for Business Experts. With your personal engagement and ability to develop modern products based on newest technologies you will support us in successfully carrying out our mission to help our customers digitize their business processes. By building, delivering and operating state of the art microservices you will enable them to build, run, manage and improve workflows, from simple approvals to complex end-to-end processes used across applications, and running across organizations.Interested? Role Requirements

  • You hold a Master/Bachelor degree in Computer/Natural Science, Engineering or related
  • You have 5 or more years of experience in professional software development
  • You bring very good software development skills in Java and JavaScript
  • Your knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies and in designing and implementing RESTful APIs is strong
  • You love to write high quality code, and you are familiar with agile software engineering practices, TDD or CI/CD are no mysteries to you
  • You enjoy applying your analytical skills to crack “hard nuts”, and step out of your comfort zone if needed
  • You like sharing your knowledge and ideas both inside and outside the team
  • You are fluent both in German and English
  • You show thought leadership and proactively drive engineering topics around cloud technologies

In the BPM Unit we are a family of around 150 colleagues, distributed across 3 locations. We proudly drive our mission with unique team culture & engineering excellence: amplify process improvements with differentiating experiences, services & content for SAP Workflow Management (Workflow, Rules, Process Visibility and Task Center).
