Join our team of embedded software developers and create advanced solutions for Teufel’s growing line-up of audio/video products. You will focus on implementing audio streaming technologies into our products and you will get in touch with all software aspects from low level aspects, application layer/user space, front end, integration of 3rd party solutions, API to Apps into the cloud etc. – and all this on various chipsets.

We maintain an open collaborative working environment and approach tasks cross-functionally – not only within the software team, but also across related technical, product and UX disciplines.

Your tasks:

  • Write clean, maintainable code (including unit tests)
  • Be part of system design workshops, scope and help prioritize feature requests with PO
  • Undertake peer code-reviews
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues
  • Work in collaboration with various 3rd parties (e.g. external software houses or technology providers, such as Amazon or Spotify)
  • Contribute to get code through certification stages
  • Perform feasibility studies

Your profile:

  • 3+ years of work experience in C/C++ Development on embedded systems
  • Advanced skills in the following areas:
    • C++ (C++11 / C++14/C++17) and C
    • object-oriented programming, software patterns
    • embedded Linux
    • agile and test-driven development
    • profiling and performance analysis
  • previous experience with the following technologies is a plus:
    • libraries: GNOME stack (GObject, GUPnP, GStreamer)
    • tools: git, Buildroot, Yocto, CMake, JIRA, Confluence and TeamCity
    • protocols: WLAN, TCP, UDP, Multicast, UPnP, HTTP(s), REST
    • DSP development for embedded devices
  • you write code that is clean and comprehensive; in general, you apply high quality standards to your work
  • you have strong analytic skills and work in a well-structured and accurate way
  • fluent in English
