Return on Art is an online art platform experiencing strong sales growth, prompting us to hire our second full-stack engineer.

This position will give you the opportunity to create and maintain two systems:

1. a customized CMS based on Statamic used for managing artists, artworks and core business logic.
2. a beautiful frontend built largely with Vue, Tailwind CSS, and Firebase.

We're looking for someone with 4+ years of experience and the negotiable salary range is €50k - €60k / year brutto. We prefer candidates located in Vienna but are also open to partially remote arrangements with in-office meetings limited to a few times per month.

Our team: we currently have one full time full-stack engineer and one full time front-end engineer. Overall the company has five full time employees. English is the internal company language, and so you will need to be able to express yourself fluidly in English. German language competence, on the other hand, is not needed.

Our tech stack: we're currently running Statamic 2.X but will soon move to a headless 3.1 deployment with hosting via Firebase. On the frontend we use Vue 2. We run our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, making use of cloud functions and Firestore. Otherwise, our most important integrations are with Mailchimp and Stripe.

Skills & Requirements

• 4+ years as a full stack web developer
• Extensive familiarity with PHP (ideally with Laravel and/or Statamic)
• Working knowledge of Vue
• Some experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Ability express yourself fluidly in English
