Being a Back-End Web Developer at Genetec, you will

  • Develop with the latest technologies
  • Make a heavy use of the best libraries from the communities
  • Be part of a new team & project powered by Angular and .NET Core/ ASP.NET Core
  • Apply latest technologies and methodologies (DDD, micro-services, Kubernetes, ...)
  • Develop Frontend & Backend to provide a fantastic, responsive user experience
  • Work in a customer centric way to continuously improve the product
  • Write code that is both scalable and testable

What your day will look like

  • Propose relevant analysis and conceptions to tackle challenging problems
  • Support the entire application lifecycle (design, test, release and support)
  • Implement scalable services
  • Build complete CI / CD pipelines
  • Stay up to date with new technology trends and suggest improvements

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of Angular/TypeScript experience as well as HTML with CSS
  • Know how to work with C# .Net Core and EF Core in both Azure as well as on-premise environments
  • Ideally the candidate should provide its own GitHub repositories, references, or technical blog posts
  • A passion for delivering high-quality products
  • Excellent collaborative skills
  • Proficient in English (written/oral)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional international team

By law, we are obliged to state a minimum monthly salary of EUR 2.600 gross (based on 38.5 hours) according to the Collective Agreement on Data Processing and Information Technology. Final higher salary offer would depend on your diploma, qualifications and experience. Performance bonus available upon yearly review.
