The QR Strategic Technology team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join in Houston. The team plays a critical role in providing central strategic solutions for Quantitive Research groups as well as broader initiatives with groups such as Market Risk and Valuation Control Group with a focus on Model Risk Reporting and Management. You will be a part of an engaging and collaborative agile global team with representation in New York, Houston, and India; you'll work closely with our business partners across the globe on a daily basis tailoring creative solutions to meet their needs.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems * Knowledge in quantitative analytics a plus * Ability to work with and lead large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals * Have the ability to lead other junior team members when needed * Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages * Experience with Python is ideal; Java, C# or C++ is ok if willing to learn Python * Experience with React a plus * UX expertise a plus
