Description:JPMorgan Asset and Wealth Management's Production and Infrastructure team is seeking a hands-on site reliability engineer. As a successful candidate, you will join a high caliber team of innovative, forward thinking technologists whose mission is to identify and create next generation, self-service, autonomous, and infrastructure as code solutions which modernize and improve the way technology is adopted and managed in our firm.

An ideal candidate will: Exhibit an infrastructure / config / network as code mindset Have the operations skills to identify and mitigate difficult and complex technical problems and the coding skills to resolve those problems permanently through automation Be able to work as part of a global team to achieve project and organizational goals Be able to ensure quality deliverables are created following Agile/Scrum development practices and deployed use CI/CD pipelines Be capable of implementing automated testing to ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards

Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in a site reliability or software engineer environment with a focus in DevOps or site reliability automation. Strong observability experience: white & black box monitoring, telemetry collection, and data analysis tools such as Geneos, Prometheus, kafka, Splunk, etc Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins or concourse Highly proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net, Powershell, Flask, or ReactJS (two or more preferred) and development tools such as GIT & Bitbucket CCNA or equivalent hands-on networking experience Strong server OS scripting and automation experience (Windows or Linux)

Strongly Preferred: Strong experience with containers and container orchestration: Kubernetes, PKS, Docker Fluency with Testing Tools like JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter Familiarity with best practices for infrastructure design for applications using Microservices, APIs, Big Data, and more Familiarity with Sign-Sign On solutions/products Familiarity with config management tools such as puppet and ansible Familiarity with database management for the most current SQL or NoSQL databases Public/Private Cloud Experience (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, OpenStack)JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
